The Faculty is based at the Tai Po campus of The Education University of Hong Kong, a purpose-built campus for teacher education set against the hills of the Tai Po Kau nature reserve.
Campus
Teaching, halls of residence and the Faculty offices sit on one hillside site in the New Territories.
- MTR to Tai Po Market, then a short bus or taxi ride.
- Campus shuttle and KMB routes stop on Lo Ping Road.
- About forty minutes from Kowloon — the hills arrive before the campus does.
Facilities for learning and research
The campus is built around the practice of teaching and learning itself. The Curriculum Resources Centre holds teaching materials and children's literature used across our programmes, while dedicated psychology assessment suites, microteaching studios and a STEM and digital pedagogy lab give students hands-on practice before they ever set foot in a school.
The Centre for Education Research supports staff and postgraduate students working on funded projects in curriculum, psychology and inclusive education, and the campus library holds one of Hong Kong's most complete collections of education and psychology research.
