Events

New scholarship scheme opens for postgraduate applicants

The Faculty has opened applications for a new scholarship scheme aimed at applicants to its taught postgraduate programmes, with particular encouragement given to serving teachers wishing to further their studies. The award covers part of the tuition fee for the duration of the programme.

Achievements

Faculty scholars awarded competitive research grants

Several research projects led by Faculty staff have secured funding in the latest round of competitive external research grants. The successful projects span early literacy, inclusive classroom practice and school leadership, reflecting the breadth of work carried out across the Faculty's five departments.

Department team advises on principal preparation review

A research team from the Department has been commissioned to review how aspiring principals are prepared for the role, tracking a cohort of 60 middle leaders through certification and into their first year of headship.
