Psychology seminar series announced

A seminar in progress in the Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology has announced a seminar series on developmental and educational psychology, running through the current term. Topics include attention and working memory in the classroom, adolescent wellbeing, and the use of assessment to inform tiered support for pupils in schools.

The series is open to students, teachers and educational psychologists, and several sessions are being run jointly with partner schools, where speakers will draw on real classroom examples.

Professor Lam Sze Wing, Head of Department, said the series was intended to keep research and school practice in close conversation with one another.
