Professor Ho Yuen Ping heads the Department of Education Policy and Leadership. Her work follows education policy from consultation paper to classroom: how a proposal is drafted, how it is funded, and what it actually changes in a school three years later.

She has advised on curriculum reform and teacher supply reviews in Hong Kong, and writes comparatively on school systems across East Asia. She teaches policy analysis on the Master of Education and supervises doctoral students working on governance and system reform.
