Dr Tsang Ka Wai researches school leadership and school improvement, with a particular interest in middle leaders — the panel chairs and year heads who carry most of the change a school attempts.

He leads the Department’s work on principal preparation and school self-evaluation, and runs professional development programmes for serving leadership teams in primary and secondary schools across Hong Kong.
