This handbook is intended for students undertaking field experience and practicum placements in the 2026/27 academic year. It sets out the requirements for each placement stage, including attendance expectations, lesson observation and assessment procedures, and the responsibilities of student teachers, supervising teachers and Faculty tutors. It also explains how to raise concerns during a placement and where to find further guidance and support.
